John and I usually don't travel that far to race, BUT I needed to get that 12 sec timeslip before the season was over, and I knew I wasn't going to get it at Mason Dixon. Just trying to see who wants to go and make some passes and hang out. I will be there working on my 60FT. The Cobra is now running High 11s, so if the 60 comes down the et should get to my goal of mid 11s . Should be some fun. And it would be nice to meet some more of you guys and gals. I know it is not the best track but the season is coming to an end and this would be the best time for you to get your best passes. With the air being nice and cool.

So I'm thinking...before the snow comes and people (especially me) whine about all the salt on the roads, let's keep an eye out for a nice 20-30 degree day/night cold spell and use it to our advantage. I can tell you, and I'm sure everyone is in agreement with me here, that our cars pull a thousand times better when that frigid, dense air is flowing through our engines. If there's no salt out on the roads, just because it's cold, that doesn't mean our ponies have to be locked up. Who's with me?

Spaz told me about this item from 3M called Finesse-It, I got a bottle {1 quart bottle $50} but well worth it, I did 1/2 the hood so I could see the difference, man its like night and day, and the finish is like glass.

ABS light

Well, my ABS light decided to come on and stay on after the last Mountain cruise. To go along with that, the Traction Control light stays on and won't turn off (ie, Traction Control itself stays off and won't turn on). I've checked all of my fuses and all check out. I checked the connections on the ABS module and all seem good. I will check/clean all of the wheel sensors and make sure those are still good. My brake fluid level is where it has been since I flushed my brake system 4 years ...
