New Paint

Well on monday im going to be calling A ford dealership body shop about possible warranty repaint. I have Many, Upon many paint chips on my car. And i have less than like 32000 miles on it. And one ship is already starting to rust badly. I fount out that we have a 5 year unlimited mileage rust warranty. So hopefully i can get my car fully repainted:) May see if they can sneak in some Painted racing stripes

Well I picked up some HID's This morning. There the HID kit you can get from AM for like 280 bucks or something like that. I got them for 100 bucks:) Hell ya. Hey guys and galls. Last night I added some extra grounds to my car. Ill get some pics up of it. I got this idea from my buddy who has an inifity and while we were browsing through some performance parts we came accross a ground kit saying by adding better grounds they were able to get 15 horsepower. Sway Bar

Well on saturday I installed a rear sway bar from Joe's GT, Was about to install the front when I was lookin at mine and the GT's and there the same. I went online and looked at pics of stock V6 front sway bars and thats deff not what i got on mine. So now I got a GT front sway bar if anyone needs. Like 20 bucks for it. And wow just the rear sway bar has made a huge diff in the ride and handling of my car.

hello, i have an 03 v6. i keep getting a cyl.5 missfire code along with above 1000k missfire code. so far i have replaced the plugs, replaced the coilpack, replaced all spark wires, and the cam syncronyzer with still the same problem. it only occures under load or if im cruising under 2000k, if i floor it or if i'am cruising at highway speeds it dosnt act up as bad. will kinda backfire/hiccup at times and then take off like nothing is wrong, other times it bogs down so much it seems like its ...

Plans for the stang

At the moment we are working on getting my baby tuned up, got some sexy smoked tail lights thanks to Alex (now to find red bulbs for the brakes), after that plans are to get the 5-lug conversion kit so I can get some nice wheels. Still not entirely sure about engine plans yet, just know it will be bigger and better in time.

Hey just wonder has anyone noticed a huge MPG difference when you went with a Diablo sport tune? I went from the mid 20 to high teens when i went with the Diablo Sport K&N tune. I have a modified stock tune on now and now im back to were it was stock. Just curiouse. I aslo noticed a diff with my tuner and 03silverGts diablo tuner. Mine loads like a frickin snail to his. It takes like 30 secs to boot. Its a U7145 With the 9r03 update.

Hey guys, I joined last year and came to the Hooters event in Towson, then dropped off the face of the earth. I have a Black 1989 Merkur xr4ti, I'm back identifying the source of the problem of oil spray through a rusted turbo oil feed line. Also the turbo bearings had goine bad in the original turbo. I now have a new T3/T4 Turbonetics turbo that I had to source the fittings, feed lines etc to get it replaced after finally determining the problem wasn't the engine just the turbo feed ...

Okay so I need my e-brake cable adjusted before I go get my inspection done (needs to be done in the next couple of days). The guy I bought my car from told me it was just broken and needed to be replaced, but from the looks of it it looks like it really just needs to be adjusted...can anyone help me out, I wouldn't mind messing with it myself, but I just really need someone that knows what they are doing so I can get this inspection taken care of! It's about time for my 89 Hatchbqck to get a new paintjob. I would rather not go to MAACO or Earl Scheib, but I don't have the money to spend on a custom paint job, either. Currently the stang is factory white (plus primer). IF any of you know a reputable shop that will do a good job at a reasonable price, please post the info here.

Exhaust rattle

Ok so i was driving today and hit a bump in the road. Then a few minutes later i start to notice a slight rattle coming from my exhaust. When i give it a little gas it doesnt rattle, and when it idles there is a very faint rattle. When im in reverse its really loud. I looked underneathh and nothing is hanging or looks broke or out of place. What could it be?

Becca has been changed....All of the decals are off even the Mustang decals......the car has been lowered 1.5 Inch with FFRP coil springs and frront and rear sway bars.......and then she has true dual exhaust from Pypes with the 4inch tail pipes......Feb going to a new cold air intake from JLT with another tune......Will have pics soon..........

I ordered the C&L intake and SCT III from Bama last night. It set me back a good amount, but I'm hoping it'll be worth it. I'll probably be running the 93 octane torque tune unless I need the Race tune for some reason. I also got the 87 octane for when I'm doing highway driving, hopefully it'll be a good choice. Apparently Bama's been swamped recently so it may be a week or so before I get my stuff, IF they have it in stock.

ok i have a 93 2.3 with a blown motor. i planed on doing a turbo build but time and money wont let that happen just yet. so i have a complete 85 notch with a 2.3 in it. and i am going tho swap entire motor and trans over to the 93. the cam in the 93 is a roller cam which i know is better but i also have a cam and lifters out of a 88 turbo coupe also. which one will be better. not looking for major hp, just a free mod since i got em laying around

Wow, first post too.

Zach picked up a '84 Mustang SVO turbo 2.3l in great condition, showing 41k miles. It's going to be his daily driver. I'll let him provide details (there are a lot) but it's a beautiful machine, and this one will be kept pretty much as is, clean and detailed as his daily driver! I should be so lucky.

A quick question about CAI

Does price really matter when buying a CAI? Ive seen them from $125 to around $300, Is there any difference in them or is it just because someone will pay that much for it? The best deal i've seen is on American Muscle where they give you the CAI and SCT X3 for a little over $600.
