THE 9 INCH REAR

OK NOW THAT WE HAVE THE TRUCK RUNNING LIKE WE WANT I NEED TO MAKE THE REAR POSITIVE TRACTION, I'M TOLD THE EASIEST WAY TO DO THIS IS TO USE A DETROIT LOCKER, 1 PROBLEM i KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FORD REARS, AND REALLY LITTLE ABOUT REARS AT ALL... HOW INTENSIVE IS THIS JOB AND CAN I DO IT WITH MORE OR LESS BASIC TOOLS? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Tools needed..

Dial Caliper with adjustable arm
White Greese
Ford 9" Shim Kit
Torque Wrench for crush washer and main caps
Black RTV
