That's non-intercooled, right? You really want to go that route?

Yeah, from what I've heard the X-Charger is the best route to go for the V6. I just watched a video from Explorer Express where they installed one on a stock V6, put it on the dyno and got over 100 extra horsepower out of it just from the install and tune from Bama.

Not too bad!

Yeah, it should only take a few hours for someone with a little know-how. The thing is, finding a shop who won't add 500 bucks on top of what it should cost.....

I did a Kenne Bell 2.1 install on my old GT in my backyard with hand tools and about 12 hours of time, and did the blower swap on my cobra in about 4 hours with hand tools. With a decent set of instructions I could probably lend you a hand, definitely knock it out in a day on the weekend or something...

If I end up deciding to spend the money on it I'll definitely take you up on that! Thanks!

From what I hear, the instructions have lots of detailed pictures, and to the mechanically inclined is pretty easy. I'm not very mechanically inclined Smile

I've been wrenching since I was little, so nothing scares me too bad. Always willing to help another military guy out. I'm a Marine Sergeant stationed up at Meade, so not too far away...

Go turbo. But first look into building your motor up to withstand the boost. Or else that motors gonna make a fast exit shipmate. Do it right the first time.

Looks fairly straight forward. What are you looking to pay for an install?

The X-Charger comes with all the upgraded parts needed to SAFELY run. It won't screw anything up.

As long as you don't get greedy and pulley it you should be fine... I ran that 2.1 Kenne Bell on my GT for almost 2 years with no issues.

That depends on who does it I guess. I haven't quoted it out yet but I'm guessing it would range anywhere from 500 to 1000 know the shops around here.

The X-Charger itself with all of the extras needed for the install come to around 4100 bucks. Not cheap!!!

Awesome! I'll definitely let you know if I end up getting it. I know it would be fun to drive but 4 thousand bucks is a lot of money. Hell, it's fun to drive now Smile
