New best on motor at Superstallions, Cecil 11-23-2008

Last best was a 12.54 at 110, new best a 12.40 at 111. Ran 6 runs in the 12.4x, with 1.6x 60fts each time. One run was at 112.5. All stock shortblock and heads too. Not too many people doing better than that unless they gut the car. One guy in a 2005 though got a 12.300 today, and he was shitting he was so happy.

Now I gotta hope we have one warmer day so I can clean all the crud off for our get together next month...

Yep, he ripped that one off after I left and I didn't get to see it, unfortunately. He had a great run. But today this guy in a 5-spd '05 with 4.10 gears, aluminum DS, BMR control arms, JLT cold air, custom SCT tune, BBK x with cats, FRPP axle back, and MT 275 40 17 drag radials pulled off a 12.300 at 111. He about crapped his pants. Stock block, head AND cams. One hell of a driver, for sure. And his run was a 1.70 sixty foot.

The cold air, sunny sky and sticky track made for a great track day!

Scott, your 1/8 mile times are killing me--you are freaking amazing! I just can't get my times down in that segment, despite better 60ft times. I'm working with my shop prior to March racing to get the damn cam timing fixed--it has to be my tune, it just has to be.

When should we line up, with your 12.40 we should be neck and neck....

I lined up with another N/A guy last week who pulled a 12.30, and he was literally the space forward of the front wheel ahead of me. Talk about a real drag race! We were both laughing hysterically the whole way down the track.
