Dyno Empty Dyno

Post by Guest Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:41 pm

So ive only had my ride since May, but ive been curious as to what it makes right now stock. I know it should be some where inbetween 240 - 260. But its had a few drivers before my time...and its got like 48,000 miles.

So my question is, does anyone on here know a good place to get it on the dyno? I've only found one place so far and they mostly only do f-body's and such.

I have no idea what type of dyno he uses. I just know he's a good guy and I have bought and done buis w/ him in the past and will continue to do so when I need stuff.

I got mine dynoed at BBR (Booze Brothers Racing) They are some of the best in the business. They use a Mustang Dynometer which givs a "real-world" hp number.
They did 03 box Stock Gt and it turned 225 at tires.

If we were headed up to PA... I would definetly suggest Frank at PSIMotorsportsINC.com. He is considered to be equal to Job Spetter, and he is the absolute nicest guy you will ever meet. Give you an example... when I took my car up to get tuned, My aluminum distrobution block for oiling the turbos sprung a leak. He took another car off one of his lifts, said here use any of my tools in the box, and fix it. He didnt charge me a dime, and he actually came over ad helped me with thinking a different solution up. Once I had it off, he said lets weld this on with a 90* here. He had one of the guys weld it up... FREE... I handed him 150 after paying for the dyno session, and told him to take everyone out for a beer. he is by far the nicest, most knowlegeable tuner/engine builder/fabrication guy out there. He also runs a Mustang Dyno. Here is a pic of some shop cars.
