94-04 parts
After much debate and mental torment, I think I'm going to sell my car. Plans are to start looking to buy a place since my lease is up this year and then settle down some...THEN buy something with a better platform to race with and that is newer (maybe buy Nate's Cobra when he sells it)
I'm not sure if I'm going to fully part the car out but there are some things I need to sell to make it street legal so I will try to sell them here first. My dad is pretty sure he knows some guys at his work who would be interested in a "hot rod" to fart around in so I don't want to take too much off. If there is a high demand for something on my car, feel free to ask!
Here's the list:
17" 5 spoke GT wheels wrapped in 245x45x17 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D snow/winter tires. The tires are practically new and great in the winter/rain (well as great as anything would be on a mustang in the winter). Much better than the stock tires. Bought winter 2007 and used only from Dec - Feb each of those year (not daily driven). The tires new were $153 each. I'd like to try and get $400 for the whole set (wheels and tires).
Mineral Grey Hood Scoop (May put back on and sell Black one if need be) - $100
MAC O/R Prochamber (good shape, sounds great with chambered mufflers) - $100 (SOLD)
A pair of 275x40x17 MT Drag Radials that have some track life left on them. No rims (Randy, I will cut you a great deal if you want them since they're on your wheels so I don't have to pay separate the wheels and tires!).
OEM Passenger side headlight
Clip on black mudflaps (great for the track to keep the rubber off the rear fender) - $15 (SOLD)
Stock driveshaft (May swap with my FRPP Aluminum driveshaft for the right price) - $120 for the Alum one (SOLD)
Stock Springs
Stock Antenna
Stock grill
Stock airbox
Stock Grey Steering Wheel (Can swap out with the FR500 Steering wheel) - $15 for stock, $150 for FR500 wheel
Factory spare tire (used once) - $15
Stock Mineral Grey Gas Door (Will swap with my Black Billet GT door) - $15 for stock, $50 for Billet
Stock Shifter (I may part with my MGW for a good deal...gotta be talked into swapping it out) - $25 for stock, $100 for MGW, $25 for Gripper Shift knob with running pony
Solid Upper and Lower Control Arms from CJ Pony Parts (red and used for 5 months or so) - $85 (SOLD)
Might sell the 70mm FRPP throttle body and Black C&L Plenum for the right price (Plenum fits 99 - Mid '01 GT) - $200
I'm not sure of prices right now but feel free to make reasonable offers. I will try to come up with prices as I check their value but I will definitely cut you all good deals before I post this elsewhere. Most of yall have seen the car and if there is anything you may want from it, let me know and I'll let you know if it something I want to sell.
Of course, if you think you may want to buy the car, let me know and we can talk

Re: 94-04 parts
Thx Will! I figured now would be the time to part ways with her before I get TOO attached...lol I always said I wouldn't give her up but it's seems logical for the time being. There will be plenty of faster ones when I get settled!
Anyone feel free to spread the word...I'll let the stuff go for good deals so I don't have it sitting around! I figure the next one won't be able to use any of this stuff

Dang man. Sucks to see her go but it will be worth it in the long run. Wish you had some parts I could use. Let me know when you are in the market for a Cobra, good luck bro. You can ride shotgun with me this year, might even let you drive.

Re: 94-04 parts
Sorry to hear , I hate to see a Mineral go!!
PM'd you on the MAC O/R Prochamber, 70mm FRPP throttle body and Black C&L Plenum and the Clip on black mudflaps.
Let me know how much for the upper and lower control arms. My B-Day is coming up March 7th so maybe I can get my hands on those too.

Re: 94-04 parts
I'll start at $120 for it and go from there.Smokeurhonda wrote:How much you want for the alum driveshaft?
I bought the MGW in OCT of 2007. It's the same one they are selling currently for the Tremec3650.03silvergt wrote:How old is the MGW shifter?
Thx! Sux to let her go but gonna upgrade at some point...6SPD04COBRA wrote:Dang man. Sucks to see her go but it will be worth it in the long run. Wish you had some parts I could use. I'd say $100 for the Prochamber, $15 for the mudflaps/splash guards, $200 for the TB/Plenum Combo, $85 for the Control Arms.Dominican7 wrote:Sorry to hear , I hate to see a Mineral go!!

Of course all of the pricing is negotiable to an extent since they are typically about half of what they are brand new. Also, the prices are assuming everything is still in great shape! If I take something off and feel it's not worth what I'm asking, I'll drop the price...AND if you help removing the stuff, I will cut a break there too Most of the stuff hasn't been used THAT much since I didn't really start doing too much until the last couple years.

Dont worry about payment til we get the stuff taken off. As soon as it warms up enough and is dry enough, I will be wrenching so I will keep you posted. I will mark those sold for you! Thx! If you want to help with the removal and install to your car, let me know and I'll make em cheaper The mid-pipe and CAs are "fun"!

Re: 94-04 parts
I think I'm going to let the tuner go with the car to keep it somewhat peppy and since it still has the 410s in it. If I change my mind, I'll let you know!Dominican7 wrote:Is your tuner unlocked?

The price really depends on what stays on it and all that. Plus, I gotta figure out what it's worth since it's almost 10 years old (still less than 70k miles tho)!
