This is for Christina, her transmission is slipping a little in the fox and we are wondering if it was worth it to rebuild the A4LD or go for a better auto.

If she wants to keep the current setup (4 CYL/auto), I'm sure it could be rebuilt for a couple hundred...

dont know about a couple hundred. Maybe by a redneck in the back woods:) last i looked to rebuild autos at a good place was atleast 1500. Be better off to go with a 302 and a 5 speed:)

On Ritchie Hwy is Aamco(close to her house) and further up is Glen Bernie Transmissions(in between Ritchie and Crain Hwy), but Chris is right, you can forget a couple of hundred. If you two know someone that knows what they're doing, now would be a good time to call in that favor or two. G/L!!
