Pics - Painted Silver Flames on My 2010 Mustang

It's been a while since I posted. I found a good paint guy here in my neck of the woods, so I thought I'd share. If anyone's looking for paint work, he does great work and is WAY cheaper than anyone else I found.

So...... I had him pull my stripes off, paint on the silver flames, repaint my front grilles, fog light housings, side skirts, rear bumper, and decklid panel.

It turned out really good but these pictures do it no justice. Since the flames are silver on white they're very subtle. In a lot of light they are very silver, and in low light they look gray. You can watch them change colors as you walk around the car.

I know these pics are huge......

$1500 for everything. It was supposed to be 1500 for just the flames but he ended up doing everything else for the heck of it.

I was quoted 4 grande from another shop down the street from him.

Thanks man. If you ever see it in person you'll see how cool it looks to watch the flames change color as you walk past it. It seems to make the flames flow/move, if you know what i mean.

Thanks man! Like I said, this guy does great work and I refer anyone he'll give you a great price. Nothing in it for me. Just the satisfaction of seeing him get the business, and to see more Stangs out there with sweet ass paint jobs!

Oh, and on the wheels..... I've been thinking about getting them painted to match the silver on my car. I'm up in the air about it. On one hand, I like the contrast of the darker gray, but on the other I think it might look cool to match the silver.

Wow ur car lookes hot with the Flames so what is the name of the shop that's did the work or the guys name. Because he did a great job.

From the pics it looks like a quality job for sure and very outstanding price! I'm just not a fan of the "real flame" look. Your car will no doubt attract attention almost wherever you go I'd keep that contrast going with the wheels as they are.

Thanks! The name of the shop is "Heflin's Automotive" and the owner's name is Shawn Heflin. Very cool dude.

O ok is he located in waldorf I grow up there I have family there my mom. There is also a guy that does very go work in waldof name Gary Best he did my truck. Hey thanks for the info.

Looks like you might need some wider tires on the back for those deep dishes. I like the black contrast tho!

Yeah, Shawn is in Waldorf. Gary Best is a good dude. I had him smoke out all of my lamps (brake lights, third brake light, front and rear side markers). He does great work. He is in VERY high demand though and his prices reflect it. He probably would have charged me about 5 grande for that paint job. He's kind of the "pimp my ride" guy for this part of Maryland.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of getting wider ones for the back. Maybe a 285?

U r right Lol, but he does do a great job and he does stay busy I try to stop by everynow and then and say hello. I have be at the OC shows with him Cool People.

Oh yeah, Gary Best is the man. He even dropped me off at my house and picked me back up after he was finished smoking my lights. That's what I call service. He's got such a huge client base because they can do ANYTHING and their work is top notch.

Yeah, they do tail lights. I'm not sure how much he'd charge but I don't think it would be all that much. I paid Gary Best 400 bucks to do all of my lenses on my car (7 total). I'm pretty sure Shawn will give you a good price. Tell him Dave Sinclair referred you. That way he'll know that I already told you his prices are low

I'll definitely try and make that! It'll be my first meet with you guys.

Great it will be one of my second if u count the hang at the bar for the playoffs. That's was great cool people.
