Roush 427R clone?
Seen on auto trader and private seller listed a 2009 "Roush 427R" for $15k. Something about it doesn't look right, especially the serial plate, and the VIN search doesn't come up on the Roush site, but if that's a real GT, still a great price for an '09 with 3,225 mileage.

Re: Roush 427R clone?
I can't tell if it's a clone or not by what they show and not researching the VIN. No way a '09 GT Premium should be that far under $20K with that few miles on it unless "something" is wrong with it!

Re: Roush 427R clone?
Yeah hah. Seemed too good to be true. Must of wrecked it and then put on a full body kit. Something about that plaque is off. Think it should have a signature and longer serial code.
Not a fan of people trying to sell something that's not true. Should at least say "look a like" or to that effect.

The plaque looks exactly like the one shown on the Roush site. Even the location is the same...alkemist wrote:Yeah hah. Seemed too good to be true. Must of wrecked it and then put on a full body kit. Something about that plaque is off. Think it should have a signature and longer serial code.

Strange. Though I believe there are engine plaques also. Plus it didn't pass the VIN check. Some people clone them good. Lol, I'd like to get a Roush someday.
