Prayer Request

As some of you know I did a tour in Iraq. Well I got news that one of my closest friends on that deployment was just injured in Afghanistan. He's gonna live but has some bad injuries and lost a few of his Marines in the blast. I just ask that if you are a religious person could you please say a prayer for Sgt Shane Hafner and the Marines of 3/6 and their families. Thanks!

This is yet another reminder of our servicemen. It breaks my heart just thinking about the sacrifices made and the life long consequences that too often result. My grand daughter lost her foot in a lawn mower accident when she was two. She is 7 now. Her mom, dad, and brother live with us, so I see the trials of someone with a
prosthetic everyday. I can't get away from the horrible images of the maimed men and women caused by the IED's. May God carry your friend through this ordeal and make him stronger for it.
