255Lph Fuel pump $50
I have a 255lph fuel pump that has less than 500 miles on it. Im canning the fuel injection and need to get a pick up instead of a in-tank pump. This does not come with the sending unit.

could it be moddified to work as a inline? Theres no way i could use it with my tank. I would have to go get a diff fuel tank to be in tank

Re: 255Lph Fuel pump $50
will not work. you need to have a baffled tank, or sump for that pump to work. It will burn up in a inline configuration.

the fuel in the tank keeps it cool right? guess thats why in tank fuel pumps fail prematurely when people keep driving around with less than quarter tank of fuel all the time
btw bob i still need that pump my walbro failed last month. hit me up when you have it removed from your ride. thanks

Re: 255Lph Fuel pump $50
Not too much it being cool it has to be submerged below the fuel for it not to wear out the impellers.
Different style impeller housings for a push style pump and a pulll stlye (inline pump).
However ALL pumps push better than suck. Thats why most inline pumps either are piggyback to a push pump or sumped.
