Unmarked s197 police car Empty Unmarked s197 police car

Post by alkemist Sat May 15, 2010 3:26 pm

Today while I was driving down 216 into Laurel (Howard side), I saw an unmarked black s197 GT, had pulled over someone. First time ever I seen a s197 police car around here. You'd think it was just a regular mustang, hidden lights inside. LOL, even had upgraded wheels, believe they looked like my stock. Couldn't tell what year it was, only saw it briefly as I was in the far lane, but it was pre 2010.

I've noticed people don't speed down that road.. prolly lots of patrols.

They probably had problems there before, most of it is just straightaways lol. So tempting, but just watching other ppl's driving habits told me something was wrong. Thanks for the confirmation.

As we were coming back from the Philly cheesesteak cruise last April, there was a black unmarked S197 sitting in the crossover somewhere in MD just after a big rest area. Ed will probably remember where it was.

It's stock so far as I know, but yes, it's Howard County PD that has it. They have more than 1 though, and don't patrol specific areas in it, they go all over.

Ya Dawg, the Black one you saw works between the Susquehanna river bridge and the DE line, now that car actually looks suspicious when you see it, but the one that works between the bridge and the Balto City line on 95 is an innocent looking windveil blue one with no tint on the windows at all, in fact I think its a 6'er, you may say well I can out run that, but just remember, that one equipped with that High Performance Radio, you aint out running that.
