Re: welds
What's the back spacing on the 8's? Looks like 4.5" from the pics, which is incorrect for a Fox Mustang, you need 5.5" to fit properly. Super cheap price though.

Re: welds
yeah, he will be putting them on for me at his shop, so we will see... and i know for sure that my quad shocks will have to be removed
Re: welds
uhhhh...15x10 with 5.5 BS is gonna look like poop. You either need 15x8 with 5.5" of BS or 15x10 with 6.5" of BS.
But....i seriously doubt that back wheel in the pic is a 15x10 at all. By the way that 255/65 fits, it's a 15x8 or 15 x 7 with 5.5" of BS. There is no way a 255/65 will have that much sidewall buldge on a 15x10. Sorry, but I'd measure them before I bought them. Not to mention if you are going to go with a skinny up front, WTF is the point of going with a 6" wheel?
Oh, and how the hell do you fit a 165r15 on a 6" wheel!? I think someone is a bit off with their sizes.

Nothing wrong with a 165r15, for daily driving or track use.

Re: welds
so i went to go look at them... bcp was right.. the rim itself was about an 8 not a ten-- the tire stuck out to about 10.5 inches brought my tape measure!... and the front rims themselves were about 4.5 inches thick but the tires stuck out to about 6 inches...
i ended up not getting them because the front tires were very bald and my tires right now have excellent tred on them
so if any of you know someone with welds... tell em im interested!

Re: welds
iMO KEEP WHAT YOU have and mount some drag radials on them and do some gears and you'll be cheaper in the end and will hook up at the trackRTW0223 wrote:so i went to go look at them... bcp was right.. the rim itself was about an 8 not a ten-- the tire stuck out to about 10.5 inches brought my tape measure!... and the front rims themselves were about 4.5 inches thick but the tires stuck out to about 6 inches...

Re: welds
yeah u have the pony rims which imo are great wheels to keep on for a while as you do other mods.... unfortunately, I have the turbines so they need to be replaced as soon as i can....i think they take away from a foxes look in an awful way..
