Earthquake this morning, anyone?!

I was lucky enough to wake up for it, I thought there was some kind of explosion!

Yep, felt it as well. Apparently there was a 3.6 earthquake in Rockville/Germantown that could be felt up to PA and WV.

Shook my whole house. Woke me, my wife and my 7 year old up.

Woke us up at 5am! Whole house was rattling...crazy feeling.

Wow, WTF. I was fast asleep as a mofo

slept through it but the wife thought it was a truck/plane about to park in our front lawn : )

Yes, we felt in to in AA county. I thought i was on a 25 cent cheap motel vibrating bed. At first I thought the wife left her toy running in bed. I woke the wife up and she thought it was a truck but heard no noises just shifting. Hell lets blame it on BP for causing the back pressure with the new oil cap they installed in the gulf. ha ha

It woke me up in Laurel this morning. Awesome stuff but nothing compared to when I lived in California. Imagine that being a weekly occurance. lol

I though my wife was shaking me to wake up to go to work. I rolled over to tell her I'm off today, when Isaw she was still sleep. I figured it was an earthquake since my dog was going nuts.

it would seem my dog was awake for it and thought it would be a good idea to get me out of the bed as well with all of her barking at 5am

Ive got a fleet of dump trucks in my hood and front end loaders running up and down the streets resurfacing the streets every day. so i assumed it was just them. oh well went straight to bed after getting off work. wake up later and saw it on yahoo news. eh went back to bed again

My wife thought it was a truck coming down our driveway. She said she woke me up, I dont remember this but I do remember that my dogs were going insane.
My Dad said that he thought the propane tank outside his house in Clarksville blew up. He went outside to just a loud rumbling.

Slept through it. My parents said, and I quote, "It sounded like helicopters about 10 feet above the roof"

holy crap bob! my dad said the SAME EXACT THING. we live in damascus, and i just thought it was a bunch of helicopters or 18 wheelers going by. but my dad was awake for the whole thing and he said he thought it was that propane plant in clarksville. hahah

April and I were on our way to work at that time, so between the bass of the stereo pumpin' and the exhaust, I don't think there would've been any way in hell that I would've noticed...
