S197forums has a few threads appearing on the intake. Without a midlevel cam upgrade, and other supporting mods (full exhaust, cold air, TB and a custom tune), aftermarket intake manifolds provide little value.

It took some careful tuning on my C&L to wake it up, but when it woke up, it REALLY woke up the car. I can't stop driving it fast!

Interesting. That's the Cobrajet throttle body. The hot rod cams have proven to be good for some horsepower, so as a package, that's the right idea. Longtubes and an o/r midpipe, then a custom tune with the proper cam timing values set, and you'll maximize the air going in and out. Note that the tune will set you back some coin too, so you're at $2000 or so for 30hp, perhaps a bit more (Fords HP claims are on an engine dyno, so knock off about 12% for drivetrain loss to the wheels).

Add some ported heads in the future, and I bet 380hp or so to the wheels is within your grasp. Nice find.
