GT500 spoiler on 4.0??
Anyone out there think they can do this mod?? Any idea on finding and cost of FILLER piece ?
I love the look of the spoiler but it apparently needs modding to get on the V6 front.

doesnt look to hatefully hard. really it looks like a matter of gettiogn the lip and then taking the time to mock up waht will be needed...using cardboard as a template for the mock up.
theres a spoiler/lip you may like ima find it and post it.

http://www.dynatekracingproducts.com/
the v6 tuner kit/spoiler
the v8 tuner kit/spoiler
the gt that mm & ff has in their latest magazine features the dynatke spoiler, a tune, and a cai. however, it has yet to be posted on their site.
cdc also has lips too (classic design concepts) id think the gt and v6 would have the same contour of the front bumper.

this is the gt500 lip (figure id post images, the mustangforums site for me takes forever toload...idk about anyone else)
what the owner said
"... the spoiler install is pretty easy. the sides match up to the factory inner fender screws. i drilled and bolted through the bottom of the bumper and through some of the molded bosses in the chin spoiler. the hardest part was making the filler piece. the gt500 bumper is vertical at the bottom where the 4.0 is curved in. that leaves some of the spoiler reinforcement exposed. so i took about a 2 inch section out of the bottom of a mid 90s fullsize chevy truck chin spoiler i got from the salvage yard. it has a molded lip on it that let me bolt it to the gt500 spoiler from behind. theres no exposed hardware and the whole assembly makes the front bumper about 1.5 inches lower making it match the hieght of the side skirts. ive had no problems with speed bumps the ride hieght is stock, but i wouldnt pull over top of a curb with it. the grass in the pic is quite tall so it looks close to the ground in the pic."
in my opinion he could have done a better job, just by looking at the up close side shot.

Love the look of the GT500 chin and cant beat the cost of about $90, others run about $250-300 for the V6
Cervini
Fang
3D Carbon
The CDC I dont think looks agressive enough
And love the SS rear

I would love to get the fang chin spoiler and the hood scoop from the yellow car.
