So.... had my polyurethane motor mounts shipped here fri so they would be here when i got back from break to be installed. jacked the car up. jacked the engine up. took the passenger side one out. Turns out the new motor mounts are both driver side ones. so pissed.

so i told CJ's to just issue me a refund and i went over to Advance to get new motor mounts, figuring i dont need special mounts for a stock motor. i installed the passenger side mount no problem. however i could not get the stock driver mount out because the oil filter is in the way and for some reason the oil filter would not come out.... anyways, the steering shaft did not seem to move away from the header at all ... :/

I've got the same problem with my equal length headers, I've got a ton of spacers under my motor mounts and they still hit my steering shaft when I start my car
