Rims and tires from American muscle

Has anyone purchased them and if so how does the free mounting and balancing work?

I believe they send them mounted and balanced already. Not positive though.

I have gotten tires and wheels from them and the come ready to go on the car

yeah, they are shipped ready to be bolted on

You have to buy the tire and rim at the same time for it to work

Same size helps too....

It's best to pick the same color tire too. Just sayin...

I just returned my wheels I ordered from AmMuscle. I ordered an already mounted and balanced set and when they arrived the balance weights fell off. I took it to a local shop to get them re-balanced, (AmMuscle offered to cover the bill) but the shop had a hard time balancing the wheels. So AmMuscle offered to replace the wheels all together. I got my replacements and the balance weights fell off right out the box again and one wheel was badly scratched up from what looked like a really butchered mounting job. I returned the exchanged wheels all together and am waiting to get my money back !!!!

Wow...sorry to hear this. usually people don't have issues like this with AM or atleast I have not heard them.

I have always got the same deal or better from CJ pony parts, and they are close enough to take a ride and make heads roll... never had issues with them though, as their quality assurance is pretty high...

AM price matches also, and the customer service is hard to beat! they like any other company may have some issues, but the difference is the way they treat you.

i had to cancel my order because they dont have the TPMS sensor kit so im headed back to ARTS and hopefully they will be able to get the tires done this time around

I'm glad mine doesn't have those, seems like their more trouble then they are worth

Yes they are a pain. When the car was abt a year old
One of the sensors went bad and ha to have it replaced (free of charge of course). But when the warranty runs out its going to suck to have to pay for them

Its more about quality assurance, which AM has a ton of threads on Mustang forums for not checking their stuff before they ship. For parts that don't need assembly they are fine.

Oh I agree I'll continue to buy from AM I just need tires ASAP. As for the sensors them selfs I blame ford haha

Got my black bullits from them. The only thing is the lip on my front wheels peeled within a year. Other than that they still rock.

Yes those wheels AM stock are mostly made in China, so the quality is lower. However they mount and balance them in house, and they did a crappy job on my order and re-order. I returned them all together and looking into wheels from Tire Rack!
