April 15th Cruise

Alright, from the route that I constructed, it looks like it's going to be a 5 hour cruise. I figured we could eat after. I have us ending in Frederick since there are tons of restaraunts to choose from.

First stop is at Milepost 74.....called Sideling Hill Overlook/Reststop. Pretty cool place to take some pictures of beautiful scenary. Especially if you are willing to walk/hike a bit.

Then it's off to the back roads for a bit passing through Hainesville, WV and then on to Frederick to eat.

If folks are not able to go all the way, especially after Sideling Hill, feel free to. Do NOT feel obligated to stay for the whole thing.

If anyone sees a problem with the map, let me know. I know most of the roads, but when we head to WV I am not quite familiar.

Does your 5 hour estimation include the time at the overlook? Looks like about 4 hours of driving per Google Maps?

Yeah, I gave it 5 so that it might include some time at the overlook.

WAAAHHHHH !!!!! We're only able to do the 14th. Have a blast looks nice espicailly if the weather is nice

Where's the gas stop? My mileage sucks

notice there is no mention of the "Donner Party" taking part in this cruise.

Checking the calendar! And as for gas stops I am kinda in the same boat svttwin. My mpg isn't very good I won't make that kinda distance in 1 fill up.

There are plenty of gas stops on 70 and 81. We will work it out.

I figured once we get close to Sideling Hill, we can pull off and do a fill up real quick so that way we are good to go for the WV leg.

Can't make it on the 15th... Justin's flag football game starts at 9:20 am AND this is the first game of his I can actually attend! I've missed the previous 3 due to work...
