Driving yesterday on one of the main roads, all a sudden steam started pouring out of my defrost vents, looked at my temp gauge and it was reading ~240. crap... I pulled over into a Wendys and my car was pouring antifreeze. I went and bought another gallon from CVS. but the car wouldnt hold it. It is pouring out of here:Fox Overheating.. 2012-08-28_17-12-29_768

isnt that a condensation drain?

I pulled the carpet up on the passenger side and its dripping there too, which makes me want to say the heater core is bad... again..

Im having my dad send me the heater core bypass pipe i have at home :

The bottom hole with the large grommet is a AC condensation weep hole, and cabin weep hole.

IIRC it also attaches to the heater core box, so that would make sense...

At least you won't have to deal with the AC when you do change it. Now THAT is gonna be fun.

Thats what I was saying. It's still a fun job doing the heater core. You had AC and the heater box it a pain to do. In the older foxes w/out AC from factory they had an access door behind the glove box. I had a Bronco II like this. In HS I had an 84 Capri that the heater core took a dump... I pulled the whole dash, and we just cut the box at the firewall to unbolt the section we needed for the heater core. Resealed with HVAC tape.
