April 11, 2015 NVMC Mason Dixon Dragway Track Rental

Wanted to invite you guys to this rental again. There will be a dedicated lane for DR/Slicks and a dedicated street tire lane. We will be enforcing this better this time

Event Hours: 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

$75 at the gate day of event

$10 spectators over age 16 (each racer is entitled 1 free spectator)


Check In: 7am-8am (Mason Dixon Gate)

1. Roster Check (Pre-Payment Check).
2. Number Vehicle (3/4 Window) Vert’s (Windshield/Back window)
3. Pay Fee ($75 if NOT Pre-Paid) Add you to the roster (Deadline for $52 rate is 4 April 2015)
4. Sign Competition Waiver & get wrist band (goes on left wrist)
5. Issue you a Registration Card (return facility portion to gate prior to racing)
6. Follow ALL commands from the tower (or NVMC Staff Directives)
7. Special MPH decals awarded for 100+ MPH track speed for your 3/4 Window.

Racing 8am-12 noon, 2 lanes, timed. (Race your friends)

Special Instructions: 10 mph Speed Limit when not on track, Park in grass, you get (1) Pit Crew member FREE, additional spectators are $10 ea. (Kids under 16yo FREE).

Proper Attire required- (No Shorts, Sandals, Tank Tops for drivers).

Helmets may be required, convertibles are different than hard tops.

NHRA Safety Rules Apply here folks, make sure you have the proper equipment for your Mustangs & Vehicles speed capabilities.

I do too....however this whole street tire lane ...is hoggwash....you shouldn't be on a track without drag tires.....more often than not I see the cars in the street tire lane  burning tires half way up the track and almost losing it.......saftey is key and racing on street tires IMO is not being safe/smart

I just sent my money in and cant wait for this, if for nothing else to see how my times change.

With the dif clicking it's ass off I think I'll have to pass. Hopefully next time I'll be able to bring the II

Although, got an email from the listserv today saying that NVMC needs 20 more prepays or the event is cancelled.

it will, weather is the more important question....will it rain or not???

Yes we are still short on prepays, and hopefully we get all needed so this event will happen. But the weather is also key for this event to happen.
