Bristol Track Rental

I have a really good friend whose dad has an 07 GT500 and recently he just took delivery of a new GT500KR. He came out last weekend and did some hunting with me and showed me some pictures of the new KR. Beautiful car, silver with blue stripes. He actually worked out a deal with the ford dealership in Grantsville, MD to keep it in their show room throughout the winter til spring. Anyway, in conversation he asked me if i wanted to take my car to Bristol and run it. Of course i said yes. To make a short story even shorter his dad is renting the track in Bristol for a day this spring and he can have up to 100 people attend the track day. They'll be trailering both cars to the track and i'll be driving mine. The date is uncertain at this point but it will happen. I really cant see him getting 100 people to go. If there is any interest from anyone on here to go let me know. I am going to talk to him and see if he minds if i bring a few people. I will probably ask for 5 spots not including myself. Anyone interested?

I have a fith wheel on my F350... we could rent a 3car trailor and haul all of them...

now that sounds like a sick idea!! i can ask around and see if i kno anyone w/ one...

sweet, glad to see some interest. I'll keep you updated with details as i get them. Probably drive down the night before, go out etc, wake up the day of the rental, go to the track, then drive home later that day. If that works

Dont quote me on this but I got the feeling that his Dad was covering the expenses for the track rental. I will try to find out more info. I just sent him a text message
