As the title says, anyone wanna go on a small cruise this weekend?

The weather looks fairly descent as of now, BUT if it turns out to be crappy then I am scratching this idea.

I do not have a route designated as of yet. This is basically a feeler to see who all might be interested. Once I get an idea then I will work on it.

Let me know which day is better for you all if you are interested....saturday or sunday? It will most likely be an afternoon cruise.....

meet spot at 12pm
St James' address is

5757 Solomons Island Rd
Lothian, MD 20711-----there is a Park & Ride Commuter lot across the street from there, that is the meet spot!! it did not have a physical address so we used the closest spot with a physical addy

If you look at the map, you can see the park & ride just to the left of the "2" thats right above the "A" indicating the address for St James'.

I might be down, depending on the day and location.

No go for me neither. I gotta work late Friday, drive down near Richmond on Saturday and be back to work on Sunday at 8am. I might be alright cruising late Sunday after work but that all depends on how long I get stuck here.

If its nice out, and my heads are here... I have to get the car done for GOOTC so its most likely a no go for me.

He just did...

Just got a txt that he is getting a clunking noise in the rear. Metco says that if you don't use their bracket, that some have noticed a clunking noise.

Their bracket is really beafy compared to the stock piece.

I thought he did use their bracket?

No we installed their drop brackets for the LCA's but the UCA has a bracket as well. The stock piece is made of 1/8 inch steel, the Metco piece is made of 1/4 inch steel.

yea the roads dried up around my way and i took her out for a spin... besides the clunk everything feels great...i knew i should have got this the first time!

and i just ordered the bracket and should be here by the end of the week!!! im gunna read some intall write ups and figure how 2 get that bracket out will

Wish I could go on sunday but gotta work. Just started a part time gig.

Great idea, but I start my 7 straight nights tonight (Tuesday) then work the weekend after that as well
My first available cruise time will be the first weekend of April (4-5). NVMC Drag Day (Hagerstown, MD) is the 4th which we cruise up to in the morning. Easy to have a cruise home after at Noon. Also Sunday could be doable depending on the weather.
