College Park Tuning Spring 2009 Annual Spring meet for charity

Description:
College Park Tuning, The University's official Car club, will be having their annual spring meet April 26th. The spring meet will be held on the UMD campus. We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha's Table. The spring meet will feature Dyno pulls, BBQ, a Live DJ and more.

I have been going the past few years lots of cars and good times. only problem there has been a weak Mustang showing. Lets change that this year

We have our cruise to the US Marine Corps Museum this Sunday

yeah i think the cruise i will have to come first. plus last year i went and there where alot of ricers that where hating but all in all it was an ok time

yea i would get sick of looking at all them ricers

^^^ all the more reason to pack the place with stangs

Can't miss this one, last year I took about $3800 off those kids.

You gotta bring your car out there next year Dude. All these young import kids start coming out of nowhere cash in hand. As soon as they lose they start whipping out these laptops and it looks like a late night Kinko's store. I beat up on a bunch of Lexus IS 300's with turbos and twin turbos and spraying this and that is was wonderful. It all starts at the dyno. Two of the IS 300's put up nice HP numbers but had no torque. One thing led to another and the next thing you no its a 25 car caravan going to prove a point. I was actually up about $5200 but I lost 2 runs to a white '96 Twin Turbo Supra from Northern Virginia. That had to be an 8 or 9 second car, he had a chute and everything. I was in an '03 ZO6 with a Vortec blower running 12 lbs and a 150 shot. Wasn't even close.

Supras are known as dyno queens.
