Possible photo shoot FRIDAY 5/8/2009

This Friday John and I will be doing a sub install on my car in the A.M. and then depending on the weather we will be cruising around Woodbridge snapping pictures for our car show boards. If anyone wants to join us that'd be great.

Hey how about documenting the Box Build, Pic's and Video if possible, I want to build a new box for mine, and I'm not sure how to proceed.

I am going to go over to Zaks and we are going to use his Dads wood shop. Going to build a box, make a face plate and figure out something for the amp. we'll try to do a "how-to"

Cool man, should sound good! I stick to the lightweight sub boxes though, not trying to make my car any friggin heavier...lol.

def. sealed... ported sounds way 2 crappy 2 me... unless it is a sub so large it needs a ported box...

yea...i went sealed. smaller box for our tiny ass trunks...atleast mine anyways. building the box is easy...just filling the screws with filler and sanding took a while. I used carpet to cover it and that 3M spray glue is some sticky sh*t!!!

well he wants a face plate that will cover the whole rear of the trunk... so we dont need 2 worry about that

I've always heard not to attach them to the box. Direct vibrations from the bass can't be good for the amp's internals. Just what I've heard. I built a separate rack for my amps to keep them from being in direct contact with the sub. Might be a non issue...again it's something I've always heard.
