Re: 2009 Ride of The Year - Congrats John - Kooldawg6
WOW!!!! What an honor!!!!! It sure means a lot to be voted on by your peers and come out on top!!!!! I sure owe a lot of thanks to the MPSF as a whole and several members in particular for helping me in one way or another through out the year getting April to this point You guys (gal) have been a huge influence which brings me to say that myself and April would not be were we are right now today if not for that
Those certain individuals I'd like to thank are (in no particular order):
Nate - for letting me put the big tires/wheels on your Stang last fall when mine was in the shop to see if they'd even fit
Nate - for suggesting (quite strongly) what body mods to go with after "The Incident" and tagging along with me on those
numerous shop visits...including the final visit to pick up the finished product
Will - for posting up pics of your ride very soon after "The Incident" to set Nate's suggestions in stone
Will, Bronson, Bethel and Ian - for coming out late on a Friday (except for Bronson since it was at his house) and working
into the darkness on my suspension swap
Laura - for the series of unfortunate events at the NVMC Drag Day event where your black chrome FR500s ended up on the
back of April and the many who commented on how badass they looked on my car which lead to me ordering the same
setup only weeks later
John - for giving advice on doing burnouts with DRs that eventually got me into the 12s
John - for having the BOSS scheme on your car that certainly lead me to my design
Scott - (doesn't fall into this calender year, but for those several times you "pushed" me into "go mods" that helped me run
those low ETs... ("It's all your fault, Man!!!!!")
...and to those I may have missed for one reason or another!
Oddly I don't have any new pics of April to post here and Juan surely got her highlight pics already!
THANKS ONCE AGAIN MPSF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
