I went to Apple Ford in Columbia that intalls Roush and FRPP, and asked the aftermarket instal guy how much for instalation of Roush kit was which is mainly shocks, springs and stabilizer bars:

and he said "that's 10 hours of work so $1000 + 90$ for aligment"
so anyone can recommend a good shop in the area that does good work and doesn't lie??????????

Re: Local suspension instal
10 hours of labor and $1000 isn't over inflated. Being $100/hour for non warranty work and using "book hours", that is correct. However, most any decent mechanic can complete jobs in way less time which enables the dealership and himself to make some serious dough. Not many "knowing" people take their car there to have non warranty work done due to such labor hours and rates.
If you have the right tools and a place to do the work, it's a quite satisfying feeling knowing you did the work yourself along with getting to know your car better. Sure there are snags here and there, but most of the time, it's not worth shelling out the money for others to do. Some jobs however are better left up to the professionals, but I wouldn't say suspension is one of them.
