First car show with the Cobra...

Took 3rd place. The class was kinda weird. It was like 95-2008 shelby/gt500/cobras. A shelby gt won first, an 07 super snake got second. I really dont understand the category or the judging but i had a good time. Great turn out.

congats man, the best I ever did in a show was a top 85 finish, and there where only 86 cars in the show LOL

Congrads Nate. It gets very competitive and you will be sucked in trying to spend money to make it more and more over the top to draw the attention to get the votes. Biggest thing is cleanliness and not to much to make it gauky looking. You will have alot of fun showing and meet alot of nice people with alot of information and mistakes they made to save you time and money

yeah, funny thing is i am really not there to compete. i go just to have a good time, meet some new people, and see some nice cars. The guy beside me had a 1966 GT350 replica that he restored, really nice older gentleman. He's going to drop by Carlisle and say hi. I spent 8hrs this week detailing my car. I pulled the wheels, cleaned the suspension and fender liners, layed under the car and cleaned/waxed the underside of the rockers. Probably sounds crazy but i actually had a good time doing it and now that its done all i have to do is maintain it.

Congrats, Nate!!!!! Too bad I couldn't stop by yesterday, but I felt like hell! I hear ya on the not wanting to show, but rather just show up with a nice clean car. I was surprised to hear that you were the only '03-'04 Cobra there... So, now that you got Allie that clean, how often is she going to get driven???

I think Nate was the youngest guy in there but as you can see the guy in the can walked around more than Nate, He sat the longest afraid someone was gonna put their grubby hand on his car!!

I put my car out for Display. Only cost $10.00 and the best part was I was closer to the Free Food than Nate

My family came out to support me. Than again it might have been the "Free Food" that got them to come...lol

Awesome, Juan! That is a very free nice camera to play with! You didn't do bad by parking next to a Shelby... Sitting between that and the original Stang, probably most everybody went past your car and they at least looked at it enough not to bump into it staring while at the other two

I hear ya! That sure was a bad ass Stang back then! Not so impressive in today's Stang world given that the '11 GT could have more power with a smaller motor, but can still turn some heads!

Pictures are GORgeous. Hope to see it in person sometime. Do you have wheel spacers?
