I know it makes sense, but it's a shame as Mercury has always had a standard higher optioned trim levels and overall nicer car than the Ford version.

damn forgot all about mercury mom had a grand marquis once nice cruiser. i always stuck with lincolns anyways for comfortable fords. oh well guess there wont be a twin turbo ecotec mercury sable either!! RIP Merc
