Door
My driver side door does not close, unless i lift it up a little bit and slam it. My one friend told me i need new pins and i looked at CJ's website and noticed they sell pins by themselves and pins with bushings. Now which one should i buy or could it be something else?

Re: Door
Pins usually fix the issue unless its worn into the hinge.

Re: Door
any auto parts store will have the pins, get bushings too just in case, if you don't need them now you will in the future.
Re: Door
you need the pin / bushing kit, the many I have done always wear the brass bushing out, brass is softer than steel and wears first.

Re: Door
this is true... and if it gets real bad it will elongate the hinge holes and you will need to have either a new hinge installed or as I did, weld it up and drill it. Sometimes you will need a new striker plate or adjust the striker to line up with your door after you put pins and bushings
