How old is the date on that article? He sold Saleen and is making SMS cars. I thought I red something like this 2 years back

Zak the article states that saleen itself is going out of business. Yes steve saleen sold the company but whoever bought it kept the name and now it sounds like they are just gonna make parts, not do whole cars.

It has been crazy for a while. Saleen broke into Saleen, Techco and SMS Supercars.
Steve Saleen is with SMS.
A lot of the Saleen parts were rebadged as Techco and sold until They very quickly went belly up.
I have no clue what "Saleen" was even still doing around.

I do know that I love my Saleen supercharger. I also have their front sway bar, shocks, struts and springs. They are tight!

I had heard that they are going to switch to become an aftermarket part dealer/manufacturer only.
