Black Betty got hit. :o(

So I was on the way to school tonight and some Jack A$$ hits my car. I was trying to merge due to an accident and I got in one. We were at the red light and as I started to go the dude drove right into Betty. Causing damage to her, it took every fiber of my being not to got citizen on his a$$!!!! The dude even smirked when he saw me get out of my car.

so...... whats the deal? whos at fault?

Juan , this is the 3rd incident just this year ('the attack of the killer garage door"...."mulch madness"...now "ningas in nissans"). Wasn't it just after fullmoon last month? There must be a target on "Betty" somewhere. Best of luck!

The fault is his. I was already merging into he then lane and we were stopped. When the light turned green he should have waited for me to clear before but instead he hit me.

Do you have a police report? Those are usually pretty vital in disputed insurance claims when no one wants to accept blame.

Also, I never saw any luck in naming a car but to each their own. Mine is just the Red Devil. It's sinister and it loves it. lol

No report was taken. The damage amount was not enough to warrant a report. They just had us exchange information.

Marylands law does not constitute a report unless the car needs to be towed or injured. If none of those are present then they exchange and run drivers info to make sure valid and send you on your way.

By the way sorry to hear that. That is why i am so afraid to drive mine. People are assholes. I had jury duty yesterday, first time and they tried to put me on a civil trial. Wow, it was for a accident right down the street from me. Then the judge asked if any one would have a bias towards a accident in judgement. I stood up. When called to the bench to explain, i mentioned my wife and her two accidents in 30 days and not back to work in 2 years and still seeing doctors and that every asshole driver that dont know how to drive should pay for there mistakes. Also stated that there should be a retest every so many years she looked at the lawyers and the defendants lawyers was shaking his head NO. Needless to say did not get picked.

That sucks man, dumb ass people need to learn how to be courteous.

I just got off the phone with USAA, she pretty much said if he denies moving his car at all its my fault.

I have to take it to the a Collision Shop on Telegraph road Tuesday to get the estimate done so they can cut me a check. Then I can take it to where ever else to get the work done.

That is BS! Sue the hell out of him!

Ok, so I got the estimate from the place I was "Forced" to go to by my Insurance. I then took it to the place that did the work on my trunk. I am going to get the damage repaired and the 99/1 cobra bumper painted and mounted. Oh, and the rokecr panel I got will get also painted and put on. I will even break even....yay!!!
