I got a question

I have a 2009 mustang GT. I added a CAI and used a sct tuner to tune my car. If i add additional mods (that require a tune) do I need to retune the car? And if so where do I get those tunes?

Depends on the Mods but if they have anything that will affect air fuel.ratio then yes you need a tune. As for.tuning you can get them mailed to you from.a tuner like bama or any other tuner. You get the tune on your computer.and load it onto your handheld. Then load the tune like you did before.

If you got the SCT from American Muscle, it should come with free tunes for life from Bama, all you got to do is tell them what you added, and they will send you a new tune.

True Ed but he bought it used and "free tunes for life doesn't transfer ownership. But AM is the place to get the tune they sell it on the website www.americanmuscle.com

Sorry bout that, but yes you can still buy tunes from AM or Bama, some folks like Brenspeed as well, but I tell you, there's a guy in VA, I have used before, its Willy at http://www.dirtydirtyracing.com/ He's a good guy and not to expensive, and he will work with you.

thank you, i bought it new from AM over a year ago so i think i get the free tunes the only problem is, i only have apple computers and the tuner doesnt support mac
