I did mine as well... was a PITA. Purchased the kit from resto, and did it on 100 deg day outside so it would pull easier. Even then getting it to fully line up and the sides not to wing out was really a two man job...

Ive used these guys before. Before I did mine years ago... they wanted like a grand... I bought the kit for 170... They said if I got the kit it would be around 800, because they dont like using kits they are not familiar with... and no warranty with kits provided.

They do amazing work, yet they are on the slow side.

also some industrial strength glue/ adhesive...not the 3mm in a can crap.....Fortunately, when I did mine I work across the street from an upholstery shop and they gave me some tack strip to replace my fubared strip as well as the proper glue and they lent me an air stapler Smile

I did mine and it took 4 people 14 hours. A lot of beer and bandaids were used. I swore id never do another. They're extremely time consuming.

When someone suggest trimming an area. Don't!!! Wait till its all done. The tirm if needed. Leave some excess in the back and front. convertible top install..... ? 268252 your gonna need beer. Lol
