inner dew wipe help Empty inner dew wipe help

i have a pair of inner dew wipes to install for my 89 vert.The originals are stapled in ?? Theres a kit with screws to screw the new ones in. Seems like this is the only way. Any tips suggestions feedback help.... Thanx,Scott

Yep, get the old ones off and drill a small hole into the aluminum the staples went into. Use the sheet metal screws.

pain in the ass getting those staples out.cut em with a dremel then pulled ...and i mean pulled them out. drilled some holes put in some screws...walaaa..piece of cake after getting the staples out. The wipes fit perfectly!!!!

Right on! Yeah, the staples are a pita.... I got some off a car at the JY for my SVO. Now waiting for CJ's to send another set of outers for it, the first set were bent.... Then I can replace the glass in the doors that is scratched to hell from the old dew wipes...

its the rubber/felt piece that touches the inside of the window as its going up and down
