March Meet

New month. New opportunity to hang out. New locations. New events.

I don't know if it is too cold still but I know several people agreed at the February meet that we would like to sky dive. Would we want something like this or keep it to cruisin then eatin/ drinkin for March?

I am free all month; however, I do suggest we avoid St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Sky diving is on my bucket list but march may be a bit too cold....but I am always down for cruising,eatin, and drinkin

There are many things on my bucket list but the only thing involving cold, is beverages consumed before doing them.

Agreed St. Patricks day im probably not going to be aware of my location... and yeah skydiving could be cold but man its a great idea.

Which Weekend works best?
March 2-3 seems way too soon
March 9-10
March 16-17 ST. PATRICK's DAY
March 23-24
March 30-31

If we are cool to try a different area, up by White March is Freedom Arms which is a nice gun range tucked away so it usually is not too busy.

Again, we don't have to get exotic. We can stick to cruisin and eatin if that is what everyone prefers.

Wow Sean someone was up early on a Saturday.... rolled out of bed at 12:30 pm today and it was great!

I'm scheduled to work the last 2 weekends of the month and will be in TN/NC St Patty's Day weekend for the Bristol NASCAR race. I am VERY limited on how far I can drive as I really only have the use of my right arm for driving. I'm scheduled for a cortisone shot on the 12th and I hope it works for me, so my life can start getting back to "normal"...

Even "cruising" along with somebody is out of the question still as quick starts and stops and jarring bumps really put a hurtin' on my shoulder

No way anybody will catch me jumping out of a perfectly good plane and falling towards Earth...ON PURPOSE! I will watch others though!

I vote for the 9th-10th, or the 30th 31st (but that is Easter weekend....) as I am booked the other weekends of March. School stuff, out of town visitors...

I say we do the gun range again. How many can we get kicked out of....

I can to 9-10.
With ammo supplies being so limited, a gun range may not be a fruitful experience. We can try but I know On Target limits it to 100 rounds of ammo sold per lane!

How about a D & B type of thing? We can shoot fake guns. Or is there paintball up and running yet? I'd love to take out a little aggression....

I do like the skydiving idea. But March is a little to early in my opinion. Let's see what May brings.....

We should get a headcount.....the more we can get to do this, the less expensive it will be.

I need to do stuff this month!

April is out for me because I will be in Brazil.
May is out because I have my bachelor party, a friend's wedding, my wedding, and my honeymoon.
June will likely be out most of the month because I will be in TX.

There is a lazer tag place in Columbia that if we can get enought ppl we can have a late night match's and bring in alcohol....But than can be another time aswell.
