05 and up dash kit
Does anyone know where i can find a NICE dash kit for my car, i would like to find it in red to go with the rest of the stuff on it. ive seen a couple and im not sure if they are like a sticker or if they are more like a thicker plate to put on like the dash on the gt.

Re: 05 and up dash kit
is it an overlay kit or a kit of actual pieces to replace the existing?
attached by 3m usually...is that how this kit attaches?
also if its anything like the kits that "southern comfort"--aftermarket company that customizes tahoes, suburbans, mustangs and such...the fitment sucks on some pieces----they do anyway in tahoes.
how much?

Re: 05 and up dash kit
Its an overlay kit that attaches with 3M and it costs about 240.
Oh and on another note, my engine plenum cover finally came in. I only ordered the piece a week before the CJ Pony Parts CAD

Thats just nasty
Re: 05 and up dash kit
i wouldnt use all the pieces like the bottom half of the dash but i would end up using most of it. The red would look awesome.Big Blue wrote:IOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I have seen it in colors and they look good, I dont know anyone that uses all the pieces, but the wood on a Mustang ?DarkNightV6 wrote:Here is a pic of the wood kit but i would have black behind it because i dont have the upgraded dash

Re: 05 and up dash kit
very cool, no the colored ones look great, I keep thinking about doing some of that but only if I can get them in Sonic, but first the B&M Quick Silver Ratchet Shifter and then the Dual cat back and MAC's
Re: 05 and up dash kit
Yea. i would start there first. worry about what most people wont notice last.
Re: 05 and up dash kit
If it were me, I would just do the top half of the dash and perhaps around the door handles and the arm rest/window switches, steering wheel spokes and leave off around the door lock button.
There is just way too much on that kit that is overkill! Lower dash, center console, shifter section
