Making out with a Jersey Wall....
So thanksgiving marked the 2 year anniversary of the death of my first car....my 2002 true blue v6 auto....
well today the silver one got into a wreck some lady nailed her breaks on 95 and i had no time to do anything...going 60 4-5 car lengths turned into 0 in no time...
i wasnt hurt nor was she...but he honda only had a few scratches and a bent bumper cover....my front end looked like it made out with a jersey wall
im not going to say it totalled try and think positive but the insurance company will probly call it totaled that really bad because im on 18 and have a pretty damn clean record except these two accident in 2 years. The first one wasnt my fault but since i hit her in the back its my fault...who knows what will happen...wish me the best of luck but if it is totaled I have a few option if they still insure me.
1996 Buick!!! woot!! my gmas car i get to drive for now!!
2001 Minivan (id rather be dead than drive that)
or if we get any sort of payout get a new car...if that happens I AM NOT and I say NOT getting another mustang as a daily driver...i have the 68 and love it but a guy my size just isnt comfy in a small sports car everyday...ill either get something with AWD or 4WD preferably a truck...

That sucks dude. The old saying is always true... you can replace a car, not health or even worse a life..
Good luck with everything.

Re: Making out with a Jersey Wall....
Glad you're ok, Justin! What made the lady jam on her brakes? Hope all goes well with you through this. Now might be the time to get something older/cheap and drive that around while this and the other accident drop off your record. Fortunately you do have the other Stang!
I've had some close calls with people doing that and me following a bit too close. The worst of "my fault" accidents was when I had my '76 Pontiac LeMans and plowed into some woman's almost brand new Prelude back in '91! The only damage it did to mine was bend the bumper on the driver side, bust the plastic nose piece, crumple the driver fender and her exhaust tip cut a neat hole in my front plate. Junkyard parts, a can of primer and a can of body color and I was back in business for less than $300! Those were the cars to have the mishaps in!

That suck glad you are OK. if they total it and the damage is not to bad you should try to buy it back. I have a friend that his ins company total his car, gave him a payout and turned the car over to a local dealer he went to the dealer and broought it from them for only 200 bucks. Then fixed it himself for about 500. He endend up making money out of the deal.

*UPDATE*
So head up to see my uncle who works at a Toyota dealer to test drive some trucks...
I ended up getting one...
I got a 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab with a 4.7L and pretty loaded. It only has 36000 miles on it

Re: Making out with a Jersey Wall....
thats too bad bad man, glad your ok and you got the truck you wanted out of it. And since your airbags deployed ins will definately total it.
FYI. If it hasnt already gone on your record yet start getting insurance quotes RIGHT NOW you might even find a lower rate than you pay right now and since insurance companies only check your driving record once a year, the check they do for your quote will be the only one they do this year. That way you get a whole nother year of low ins rates before it goes up but you gotta do it ASAP.
