Is the surface rust normal after it sits out in the rain, pics are from sitting out over the Xmas holiday, notice it in the past, wanted to know if there is something you could do to prevent it or dont worry about it?

Yes, it's normal. There is nothing you can do about it. It's from the crappy metal the rotors are made with.

Zink coatings help on areas that the pad doesnt rub on... then it comes down to the treatments the rotors ahve been through, and the heat cycles...

I have enjoyed the www.r1concepts.com rotors for mine... they work well and are guarenteed to not warp Smile... I have the premium rotors all teh way around, and they dont rust much at all. you wont see any rust on them if it sits less than a week outside. After that they get a light dusting, that yuo cant notice unless you get right up on them.

A trip up the street will take care of that. No pulling of the wheels needed!Smile
