IMO, save some money, spend a couple easy days in the winter and use this stuff http://www.wheelskin.com/g2_brake_caliper_paint.html and you'll be happier and 260.oo better for it.

I used the Dupli-Color kit and it turned out pretty well. Takes about an hour to do all 4 calipers. Various colors to choose from.

I like the part about "Put the tire back on and check for clearance". If you don't have clearance won't it scratch the covers????? DUHH

Caliper paint, while much cheaper than caliper covers, actually starts to wear, and you need to re-paint it every 6 months or so. Personally, I think the caliper covers are silly, as I'd rather put the money towards an upgraded brake system, but to each their own. However, to be cost effective, the covers are the better option. My .02.
Re: Caliper Covers...
anyone actually have the covers or comments on how long the paint last?? seems like a nice dressup option, Ed I know you spray painted yours, how are those looking???

Re: Caliper Covers...
i like the covers for 2 reasons- one if they actually do cut down on brake dust that would be awesome, im tired of cleaning it all the time and two like beth said painting calipers wears off and still gets dirty fast even if it doesnt but just my opinion
