Anyone interested in a cruise this weekend?

Darkness7 from mustangforums is trying to put together a small cruise sometime this weekend or Monday since lots of people are off work. He was on the mustang mania cruise, black s197 gt with eleanor hood, etc. It'd be somewhere around the DC/Baltimore area. He mentioned possibley Sunday before the Daytona 500 or monday. So first off is anyone interested? and if so what day is best?

So far it looks like 5? I can try and round up 3-5 more from around here... not guaranteed just yet. But Sunday will work...just as long as we are back before Daytona 500!!! anyone have some good routes?

sunday sounds good! are we thinking an early morning cruise or afternoon? either way is fine with me. we could cruise towards eastern MD.....just an idea(rt 32 and so on).....

even cruising on 70 towards WV.....those are some nice wide open area roads.

maybe end the cruise at some place that has the daytona 500 on tv and grab lunch? If we could lets try to keep it as central as possible to everyone since we have people over in VA, like me, and people over on the otherside of DC around Baltimore.

well i dont think we should cruise into the city...but the bmore area might be nice...someone should map something out...

since no one wants to hit up the city, we could take the 495 route and head on 66W.......from there hopping on 81S. those highways are nice and all. and its pretty scenic........after that we could head back to the arlington area on 211E( Lee hwy). i'm sure Nate could lead us to a spot to watch the race.....grab kunch and a few drinks!

i'm just throwing out ideas here......

Earlier the better for me, because I'm still hosting a small party at my house for the 500. I will just break away when you all decide where your gonna stop to watch the race. Still trying to get a hole of 3 other guys to go...but no one is answering their dang phones!

Well, let's get this thing finalized........we need to get the route together and meeting place. i'm thinking we should meet at 9 or 10. let's get a list going to see who is going...
