Anyone interested in a cruise this weekend?

darkness7 i think....not too sure. Nate started the post.

not in the mood to go out tonight. plus i'm trying to watch my money since i'll be moving into my house in a couple weeks!

If ya looking at a Sunday 9-10 meet, why not look at the Holy Dounut cruise in at Rt198/R7 29 as a meting spot B4 the cruise.....

Thanks B!!! i'm actually doing the lease to own thing......ever heard of it? i didn't want to jump into going from renting to owning, so i decided to see how it would go with the bills and everything, and especially with the economy to make sure i can afford it. i'm trying to do right thing and be responsible......

this is Darkness7s cruise, i'm just tryin to help him put it together. I say we meet at 10 somewhere around Rockville. Thats pretty much right in the middle of the beltway on the north side.

it doesn't matter to me.......the place that Juan suggested to meet is where they have an every sunday get-together i believe that's why he suggested it.

do we have a route yet?

funny Zak. I say we pick a location and time atleast. That way people can plan somewhat. I liked Lauras idea about 66 or going up 70 to 15.

Hey guys I dont know this area whatsoever im just stationed at ft meade....so its prob better that the route be left up to someone else. Lets just nail down a time and place and who ever wants to lead can pick the route. The earlier the better for me

Alright, since Darkness7 isnt familiar with the area, i'll take the lead.....

here's the POA(plan of action)

Meeting spot is going to be at the Dunkin Donuts at 0830am at the intersection of rt29/rt198(there is a amish store in the same parking lot)

From there we will hang out a bit, grab some coffee/donuts ad then hit the road between 0900am/0915am

The route will be as follows.....
Head north on rt29
-then head west on rt32
-then head west on rt70
-then head south on rt81
-then head east on rt66, which will take us back to 495

at this point once we are on 495 i figured Nate could take the reigns and lead us to a spot to eat and watch the race.....and if you all have other plans and have some where to be you could just roll by and be on your way.

i figured we would stay with the open road/highways...makes it easier so we don't get lost and we can have WOT every now and then....lol

anyway, this is what i came up with......if someone wants to sugar coat or fix anything, feel free. at least now we have something thats more concrete!!! let me all know what you think......

well i'm heading up to PA to pick up the ride......hopefully we can get some concrete plans! i threw out my ideas, you all can work from there.........either way, tomorrow is supposed to be nice, i'll be cruising regardless if it's me or a few.

that sounds like a pretty good route. depending on where people are coming from thats gonna be a couple hundred mile drive. i'm only familiar from 70 west on, not sure if there is any place to maybe shave some mileage off on the first half. what time does the race start? I'd like to start the cruise about 10 if that isnt too late. jmo though. whatever works for the majority.

well im in but i dont feel like waking up that damn early...at least its not that far from my house...so if i keep going south on 29 and come up 2 198 where exactly is the DD?

how far is the DD from rockville? ya i dont want to have to get up early either.
