Church of the Holy Donut moving
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that sad day is upon us. Sometime in the next few weeks it looks like the parking lot will become unusable. We will be moving our gathering across the street to the parking lot by the Burger King and Taco Bell. (Burtonsville Crossings). It is a public lot with plenty of room so we should be fine as long as we can control ourselves.
One of the great aspects of the Church of the Holy Donut is that it has always been a gathering of mostly well behaved, respectable folks We have to make sure we keep our cars and noise and trash under control. Please be very careful entering and exiting the complex. All it will take is one untimely burn out to get us kicked out. If you see someone doing something stupid, tell him or at least make someone aware of their behavior. We will gladly talk to anyone that endangers our friendly gathering. Let’s be safe and keep our gathering under the radar screen. The police know we want to move other there. They see us as a group of well meaning taxpayers with cool cars. Let’s keep it that way. We must clean up after ourselves and leave room for both restaurants to operate while we are there. Don’t park on the Giant side and please don’t drive by the Giant entrance. It would be best to use the entrance/exit by the Burger King. Please patronize the local businesses.
As long as we are respectful to the property and patrons, we will be able to continue our weekly show. I look forward to seeing y'all!
