NON driving people

I am so pissed I fell like beating someone a@@.Been sick since thursday had my car parked way down in parking lot . Get a knock on the door Saturday and my neighbor tells me that someone hit my car. This dumbass backed into my car hitting hoodand front bumper. Then parks his car and goes about his business no note or nothing. Called police they took pics of my car and his truck but since no one didnt know who he was visiting thats all they can do. Call my insurance company and going to cost me 500.00 deductible to get my car fixed. Go outside this morning truck is gone no note or nothing whoever hit made the alarm go off so they knew they hit it.

you couldnt get the license number from the truck? sorry bud

I got tag number and his address from police

so cant you get his insurance to pay for it?

MD has no fault insurance. Some one hit my wifes m35 and left. We didn't even have to pay the deductible.

will get money back if he has insurance but not sure when

Dude, that mega sucks!!!! So not just the fact that they're a non driver, but also lack responsibility and common courtesy on top of it

CAR will be ready tomorrow he told his insurance company he didnt hit anything so got to pay 500.00 and let them work it out

That doesn't make sense to me, I had a guy hit my car passing me on a ramp and drive off, his insurance company had pay the whole thing for the repair, I had the description of his car and his tag #, and the damage on his car matched the damage on mine, and if I could of ID'd the guy, but I didn't see him in the car so I didn't know what he looked like, he would of gone off to jail for hit and run, check into it closely Mike, I think he is totally responsible for repairing the damage, doesn't matter whether he was driving the truck or not.
Any way I'm glad your getting your car back.

I got lucky with the 1st hit last yr, guy denied it but Ins Co went after him and they/I got paid : )
