New Guy, 89 LX Vert.
Hey guys new here, just got my first mustang a couple days ago. I introduced myself to the site so I figured I would come on in here and meet some people. I picked up a 1989 Mustang LX Vert 5.0 5spd. Its going to be my project for the next while.
So far I have, changed out the front seats to dark grey tweed(came with racing buckets, I don't fit in them), I have the rear tweed seats but only the lower will fit, so I am trying to find a dark tweed rear back from a vert to put in, I got all my gauges working last night, had to do some wiring to get them going.
Over the next couple weeks I plan to figure out a stereo setup(mainly sub, no room in the vert), I have a GT40 Upper and Lower intake to put on, change the valve cover gaskets when I do the intake(small leak), Install tail pipes(right now has dumps), get windows tinted, work on cleaning up wiring in the engine bay etc. Lots to do. Will probally have the car painted late summer
List of Mods:
Ported Factory heads
Ported Upper and Lower Intake
Professional Products Throttle Body
C&L Mass Air Meter
Aluminum Radiator
BBK Long Tube Headers
Off Road H Pipe w/ Flowmaster dumps
Aluminum Driveshaft
Hotchkiss Suspension
Kenny Brown Frame Connector w/ Jacking Rail
Tremec 3550
King Cobra clutch
17" 2000 GT wheels
5 lug conversion with disc brakes all around
Saleen wing
These are for sale, both sets have mustang brackets, the black one came out of the car.
