I'm trying to find out the build date on my 89 convertible and it's supposed to be on the sticker on the door jamb I thought unfortunately my sticker on the door jamb belongs to a mimosa yellow door i guess which was donated Sad. How else can i find out the build date?? Thanx evreeone..

Try the other door jam? or maybe the metal tag behind the bumper cover in front of the core support?

i thought i checked the other door jamb only to find nada.. i'll try behind the core support..I'm just trying to find out if mines a 25th anniversary car or not..the most i could find was on ebay motors history report it showed 4-14-89 as the day car was mfd. and shipped to dealer... sounds good to me..since my vert has no running horse 25th anniv. badge...hmmmm

supposedly from march 89 to april 90 stangs all had the badge...

As a token commemoration of the Mustang’s 25th anniversary, Ford placed a small running horse emblem engraved with the words “25 Years” on the passenger side dash of all Mustangs manufactured from mid-April 1989 to late production 1990. This, of course, included Mustangs from both model years 1989 and 1990. Mustangs sold during this time period also had the same running horse emblem pictured in the background of the window sticker. After 1990, the running horse emblem remained on the dash without the “25 Years” engraving at the bottom.

still not 100 percent certain but the free ebay history report said it was mfd and shipped to dealer April 14th?? and theres no 25 year badge..idunnow

it should be then.. But my 88' said it was mfd in 87' but it's an 88.. so i don't know how that whole thing works

I bought a 25 year for my old 92. I thought the badge looked like hell with the blank silver block where the lettering was on the bottom of the one that came with it. Took it off and kept it and put the stocker back on the day I sold it. Still around here somewhere in the bag.
