Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
Hey guys, I just joined the Bayside Mustang Club. I found out that they will be hosting a open house car show at JPC Racing's new location on May 8th. They have a pre registration set up on there web site for 15.00. I just ordered my spot. I have heard that it is going to be limited to 80 cars but not sure. If anyone is interested visit Baysidemustang.com.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
I'm actually coordinating this show with JPC. I hope to have a flyer done this week. I can provide basics though. This is an open house/car show so people can tour JPC's new facility in Millersville and check out what they are doing. We plan to have some other fun stuff going on also that we are still working out.
We think we can get in about 120 - 150 cars, but we'll take 'em until we use up all the parking. JPC is working on bringing in some big name vendors with rigs, so it could get a little tight.
Show will open at 10 but the earlier the better.
More to come soon but I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
Hope to see you there. Should be a lot of fun. As previously mentioned, parking is going to be at a premium for this event. Please note, for the Dyno Shootout Pre-registration with JPC Racing is required. 10 cars maximum per class will be entered, with a couple of standby's. As the flyer says, contact shannon[at]jpcracing.com/call 410-729-0005 to pre-register for the dyno shootout. Visit www.baysidemustangs.com to preregister for the show.
even if you are not entering the Dyno Shootout to win, this is an inexpensive way to get Air/Fuel and Horsepower measurements from your car. Dyno's can sometimes run several hundred dollars.
If you have questions please email jpccarshow@baysidemustangs.com, or I can try to answer here.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
I wonder if they'll allow my Focus to dyno. I really want to know what it's putting down.
Either way, I'll probably bring the Focus out to show since the flyer says open to all domestic makes/models. Somebody has to represent Ford sport compact. lol

I cant wait. Is anyone going to the Gaithersburg car show tomorrow. I am heading up there and also going to try and find Lusby Md? Never heard of it or been there so this will be a nice trip. Finished up all the extra mods last night. Cant wait until next weeks cruise in at JPC. Got a nice little touch done.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
A short update for everyone here.
- Early indications are that the weather is going to be a perfect 73 degrees on the 8th.
- Award and dash plaques are at JPC already and might be on display.
- We have so many door prizes that are coming in that we may be giving them away all day long, or 2 at a time. Spectators will also be eligible to win door prizes with a $2 donation to the charity collection.
- NMRA and the publisher of Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords have stepped up with some nice prizes that will be given away.
- We've got a Pit Beef BBQ guy lined up to cook food, and of course an ice cream/snow cone guy.
- There are still spots open for the Dyno Shootout, so JPC will probably accept entries day-of instead of only taking pre-registrations.
You can still pre-register for $15 instead of paying $20 at the door all the way up to the night before.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
A quick update on the status and weather situation for this weekend.
After our meeting with JPC last night, we are going to go ahead with the show despite the 20-30% chance of thunderstorms. It keeps changing but it appears to be morning/late afternoon are best rain chances (but still 30%).
Hope to see everyone there.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
Is there anyone from Patriots planning to participate in this show. I was thinking of maybe getting something together for afterwards. Like maybe grill some food and horse shoes at my house afterwards. Let me know asap so i can plan accordingly. Just will make it BYOB if that is what you want to drink. If you plan on attending and are interested in coming over email me at droptop306@hotmail.com.

Hey Jeo did you show up at the show. The photographer was talking about a twin turbo silver mustang being down JPC on friday night but I didnt see any turbos there on Saturday. I would have loved to have seen what Justin did with your car, the pics looked awesome. I however did win Best of Paint. Thanks Hope to see you at the Mustang Mania on August 7th that Bayside is getting together. I will be going to OC on the 22nd if you will be there.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
Thanks to everyone who came out for the show yesterday. As best as I could tell there were no problems, and everyone had a great time. Weather cooperated, great food, and lots of awesome rides. Justin was really happy with how things went, and really liked having the diversity of vehicles that attended. We're all already looking forward to next years and the small improvements we can make to make it even better.
Even the B.S. that ELD tried pull didn't stop a great show. But their effort and creativity certainly reached new lows.

Re: Bayside Mustangs JPC Car show
Fantastic pictures Brian!
We'll be getting some up at the Bay Side site also.
Regarding ELD:
1. 2 days prior, they stapled 'No trespassing" signs on every tree facing the areas people would use during the show. Ignorant and unnecessary, but OK fine.
2. Sometime between 1am and 7am Saturday, they rented 3 big U-Hauls and parked them and other vehicles along the entrance road to JPC that was going to be used for the show. Didn't really make a difference though.
3. Purely speculation here, but "someone" named "Miss Ford" called in a bomb threat to the Post Office along the same road during the show which caused some minor traffic problems getting to the show. Coincidence? Possibly, but its just too coincidental for any of us to believe that its not related. A federal offense, and the call will be traced.
