First time at track!
Well, I went with the Car Club here at Virginia Tech to the 1/8 Mile track Friday Night. Ran my car twice, not really happy after them both but what an experience it was!!!

Good for you, you got the bug now, you need to come out and play with the rest of us some time
Re: First time at track!
oh i will. Im going to be fixing the exhaust leaks and my bad alternator the first week I'm home, hopefully I'll be running better. Does the club do like track nights?
Re: First time at track!
Pretty cool experience, I've only done 1 track day and I loved it.

No Va Mustang club rents it on a regular basis, if you check out the other events, I'm sure KoolDawg has them posted up.

Maybe some of you guys will start coming to capitol dammit!!!
I was there with the corvette club on sun. Would of been nice to see more fords there. It seems like all the fords that were there broke down, including mine.

Awesome that you got out to the track!!!!! Even if you're dissapointed with your times, it gives you a chance to see how your car perfoms against others in a safe environment!!!!! The saying, "you gotta pay to play", is oh so true at the track! The best thing to do is go to the lower key events and have fun on learning your car and improving what you can and getting the most out of what you have!
