50 throttle body
What do you guys/gals think of Professional Products throttle bodies? I was checking them out on UPR's website and I've been searching for a 65mm or 70mm throttle body.

Re: 50 throttle body
I've seen them where the iac bolts are way off and they cause vacuum leaks or the iac just won't bolt up. But then again that might just be a few rare cases. For mild fox stick with a 65mm btw. A 65mm flows enough air to support a pretty healthy 5.0.

Re: 50 throttle body
Yup, and the egr spacer. No problems w/ any of them. The casting on the intake is a lil rough and may require some clean up, but the other 2 pieces, no problems.

Re: 50 throttle body
I run a professional products tb and spacer as well. The iac bolts were drilled so the idle plate didn't line up right. I just drilled and tapped new holes.

I don't know about their pushrod stuff, but for modular's they are crap!!!
When I purchase something, I don't want to have to clean this up or drill this out!

Agreed; everything ive seen from them seemed to be of inferior quality. I would go for the Accufab or Holley throttle body. The BBK is known to stick, i had one that would stock open at WOT regularly, as have others.

Re: 50 throttle body
Well, hope yours lasts ya longer...
Im sure you can pick up a SN95 electric fan, a Taurus fan, or the Black Magic like mine. Any of them will work.
What do you have for a fan now?
